Our client is a well-established and respected house builder with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join their construction team.

The Opportunity

Working alongside an experienced Site Manager, you'll play an important role in the successful delivery of residential developments, ensuring homes are built safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role offers genuine long-term career progression, with a clear pathway towards becoming a Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of residential construction sites.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is carried out safely and to the required quality standards.
• Promote and maintain excellent health and safety practices across site.
• Carry out quality inspections and assist with snagging and defect management.
• Coordinate labour, materials, and deliveries to help maintain the construction programme.
• Maintain accurate site records, inspections, and daily reports.
• Support NHBC inspections and ensure compliance with Building Regulations and company standards.
• Assist in delivering plots ready for customer handover.
• Build strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider site team.
• Develop your leadership and management skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.

About You

You will have:

• Experience within New Build developments as an Assistant Site Manager.
• A good understanding of construction methods and health & safety requirements.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with site teams and subcontractors.
• A proactive approach and a genuine desire to progress into site management.
